Jan has joined Artists in the formation of a
new art gallery called 'The Moon Gallery'
located on 19, Saville Row in Newcastle,
just off Northumberland Street. 'The Moon
Gallery' uses the commission from sales to
support both its Charity and other charities
associated with the gallery.
'The Moon Gallery' will be holding its first
Event on 10th February at 6pm, Tickets
priced at £5 are available from the Gallery,
the proceeds will go to Charlie Bear Cancer
Care Fund and to 'The Moon Gallery Charity
Fund for Supporting Artists'. We look
forward to your support.
Jan is in the process of seeking a venue to
hold a large exhibition where he will
display a large collection of images taken
by Queen Victoria's Photographer : Alexander
Lamont Henderson. The images will range from
1880 to 1901. The images will be a true
representation of what Queen Victoria would
have witnessed during the last 21 years of
her reign.
Jan will be performing talks illustrated
with projected on screen images in various
Women's Institutes around Northumberland on
varied subject matter that will include
The Construction of the Tyne Bridge,
Streets of Newcastle, The World of
Japanese Geisha, Floral Artwork by
Jan, Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Prints
will be made available for sale at these
venues. |
